Microsoft CRM

Out of all the different Microsoft Business solutions, Microsoft CRM stands apart in many aspects. It is the first application developed by Microsoft on the much talked about and much admired .NET technology. Apart from being feature rich and easy to use (which has always been a trademark of MS apps) the ease with which the application can be customized is what makes it one of the best in the league. Targeted at the small and mid market segment, Microsoft CRM has raised the bar for the competitors to follow suite.

The features

With the Integrated Sales and Customer Service modules the CRM enables employees to share information to improve sales success and deliver consistent, efficient customer service. Sales and customer service features include leads and opportunity management, a complete view of customer history, automated incident management, and a searchable knowledgebase. Microsoft CRM also includes reporting tools (Crystal reports) for accurate forecasting and measurement of business activity and employee performance. Accessible through Outlook and the web, Microsoft CRM helps sales reps remain connected all the time. The current version of Microsoft CRM can be connected to Great plains via BIZ talk server. The vision is to get all the other applications talk to the CRM seamlessly and this does not seem to be a distant reality.
